Melanie Belew

With over 20 years of experience in both residential and commercial design, Melanie has created a broad spectrum of interiors ranging from classical traditions to contemporary. “Homes are for living in, not looking at,” observes Melanie, “and the most comfortable rooms feel as though the pieces have found their favorite places over a period of time.” Her ability to assess her clients’ needs, desires and lifestyles allows Melanie to create interiors that feel “just right” to the people who live there. Among her many design skills, Melanie is frequently called upon to design second and third homes for her clients, using art and furnishings from previous homes and combining them with newly acquired pieces.
